In this post I will show you how add the dynamic DNS account you created earlier with no-ip to your router, then I'm going to use this free service to access a website/page hosted on my computer.

No-IP isn't the only 'Dynamic DNS' Provider available, a list of providers can be found here.

Please Note:
The router I will be setting this up on will be the BT Home Hub 3, however the settings are the same for previous BT Home Hub's but other routers will be different although the information you need to enter should be the same.

In this post I will show you how to set up dynamic DNS using a free account with no-ip, then create a host that we will later user to connect to our home services. no-ip allows you to have up to 3 hosts with a free account but more services are available if you upgrade to a paid account.

This is a follow on from Export List From Directory/Folder

In this post I will show you how to export a list of files you have in a folder using the command line and/or batch file but you will specify the file extension you would like to export. I am going to export a list of .pdf's.

Lets start by opening the 'Command Window'
Windows 7/Vista - Click Start >> Type 'CMD' in the search bar >> Click on CMD.exe in the above search results
Windows XP - Click Start >> Click 'Run' >> Type 'CMD' >> Click OK

Now lets take a look at command
